Are you passionate about supporting families during childbirth and committed to advocating for change and equity in birth work? Our ICEA-accredited Hybrid Birth Doula Training is designed for those who believe in learning best practices, promoting fairness, and making a meaningful impact in their communities.

🗓 Training Schedule:
✨ Live Virtual Classes: December 9-12 | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
✨ In-Person Training Options:

• December 14th | Thibodaux | 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• December 15th | New Orleans | 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

🅿️ Parking: Details will be provided closer to the date.

🍳 What to Expect:

• Breakfast and fellowship start at 9:00 AM each day, with class promptly at 9:30 AM. Feel free to bring a treat to share!
• Dress for comfort! Flexible, comfortable clothing like exercise attire or scrubs is ideal (no skirts or dresses unless you're planning a dance routine!). Bring an extra pair of socks, as shoes may come off for some activities.

📚 Training Materials and Lunch:

• We’ll provide all necessary training materials and a delicious lunch each day.
• Want to help with lunch? Email us to contribute!
• Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when registering. We'll do our best to accommodate.

📜 ICEA Certification:
If you’re pursuing ICEA certification, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Certification involves:

• ICEA membership: $230
• Birth Doula Certification exam: $390
  (Certification is not required to volunteer in our Community Birth Doula Network.)

💵 Donations and Scholarships:

• A $300 donation is suggested to cover the class cost.
