What to Expect:
- Breakfast and fellowship will kick off at 9:00 am each day, with class starting promptly at 9:30 am. Feel free to bring a breakfast treat to share!
- Comfort is key! Wear flexible, comfortable clothes that allow you to move around during training. Bring an extra pair of socks as shoes may come off during certain activities. Stretchy exercise attire or scrubs are ideal. (No skirts or dresses, unless you're planning a spontaneous dance routine!)
Training Materials and Lunch:
- We'll provide all necessary training materials and a delicious lunch each day. If you'd like to contribute to lunch, please reach out to us via email. Your support is greatly appreciated!
- If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please let us know in your response to this email. While we can't guarantee accommodations, we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
ICEA Certification:
- If you're interested in pursuing ICEA certification, we'll guide you through the process step by step. The cost for ICEA membership is $230, and the Birth Doula Certification exam costs $390. Keep in mind that certification is not required to volunteer.

Donations and Contributions:
- A $50 donation is required to register and hold your spot in the training.
- If you don’t plan to join the volunteer network, we suggest a $300 donation to help cover the course costs, but this is not required.
- We believe everyone should have the opportunity to become a doula, so if the $50 donation is a challenge, you are welcome to apply for our scholarship.
