Join Our Family-Centered, Equity-Driven Birth Doula Training!

Are you passionate about supporting families during childbirth and committed to advocating for change and equity in birth work? Our ICEA-accredited Hybrid Birth Doula Training is designed for those who believe in learning best practices, promoting fairness, and making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Training Schedule:
Live Virtual Classes: June 23, 24, 25, and 26 | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

• ZOOM Classes and Online Canvas Course 

In-Person Training:

• June 28 | Lafayette | 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Well Care 2865 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, LA 70506

What to Expect:

• Breakfast and fellowship start at 9:00 AM on Saturday, with class promptly at 9:30 AM. Feel free to bring a treat to share!
• Dress for comfort! Flexible, comfortable clothing like exercise attire or scrubs is ideal (no skirts or dresses unless you're planning a dance routine!). Bring an extra pair of socks, as shoes may come off for some activities.

Training Materials and Lunch:

• We’ll provide all necessary training materials and a delicious lunch.

• Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when registering. We'll do our best to accommodate.

ICEA Certification:
If you’re pursuing ICEA certification, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Certification involves:

• ICEA membership: $230
• Birth Doula Certification exam: $390
  (Certification is not required to volunteer in our Community Birth Doula Network. Active volunteers are eligible to apply for exam scholarship.)

Donations and Scholarships:

• A $300 donation is suggested to cover the class cost.
• Scholarships are available to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. Details below!
